Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

Jumabis: Jurnal Manajemen dan Bisnis (Jumabis Journal of Management and Business) is a peer-review journal clarified ethical behaviour of all parties involved in publishing an articles in this journal including The Author(s), The Chief Editor, The Editorial Board, The Peer-reviewer and The Publisher (Journal of Management and Business of Cendrawasih University). This statement is based on COPE’S Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors.

Ethical Guideline for Journal Publication

The Publication of an article in a peer-reviewed journal reflects the work quality of its author(s) with their pertaining institution(s). Therefore, it is important to agree upon standart of expected ethical behaviour for all parties involved in the act of publishing: the author(s), the chief editor, the editorial board, the peer-reviewer, the publisher. Journal of Management and Business takes the responsibility to ensuring that advertising, reprint and/or other commercial revenue has no impact editorial decisions. In addition, Jumabis will assist in communications with other journals and/or publisher should be necessary.

Publication Decisions

The Jumabis’s editors are responsible for deciding as to which of the articles submitted should be reviewed and published. The validation of the work in question and its importance to researches and readers must always drive such a decision. The chief editor must seriously prevent libel, copyright infringement and plagiarism. The Editors may confer with other editors or reviewers in decision making.
